Dear Friend of Recovery for Life,

We, at Recovery for Life hope you had a wonderful, family and joy-filled Christmas Season. We had some great family time and the usual meals, worship services, dinners and most of all enjoyed the expression on the kid’s faces when they open that special gift, fun and simple.

As we look into the New Year that's already upon us, let’s soak in all that is the awe and joy of this season, oh and yes, the cold also! I believe 2011 will be a year of expansion and ministry to more people than ever for us at Recovery for Life! We have plans to reach out to new areas and accept the challenge of helping more people.

We have a donor who has made a matching gift, year-end pledge. They have pledged $10,000 for us to seek to match by January 15th. This is a great opportunity and people get excited about knowing that their gift will literally be doubled at the first of the year.

We’d like to invite you to help people who are struggling with LIFE, whether they might be children, teens or adults. Your gift, whether large or small, will be a sacrifice, no doubt. We do not take that lightly.

I was just talking with a young man in the community who is a business owner. He was in our program 9 years ago. He did so well that his life and business have been restored. He wants to give back and help others who are struggling.
