Substance abuse costs our economy over $300 billion every year.  This staggering number represents a major epidemic. Research has found that for every dollar spent on addiction treatment seven dollars are saved in costs to society.  In other words, every dollar spent on the treatment of addiction has a significant impact on our economy.
